Everything You Need to Know

What age groups does AAC train?

AAC primarily works with youth and high school athletes aged 10–18. However, we also train collegiate athletes and adult competitive athletes on a case-by-case basis. The baseline assessment determines if our programs are the right fit.

How is AAC different from generic speed camps?

Most speed camps focus on volume — more reps, more drills. AAC focuses on mechanical quality first. With nearly 1,000 hours of physical therapy clinical insight, every coaching decision is grounded in biomechanics science, not convention. Camera analysis makes every correction visible and verifiable.

Where are sessions held?

Primary training takes place at North Park in Ave Maria, FL — 4010 Anthem Pkwy, Ave Maria, FL 34142. We also serve athletes in Naples and surrounding Southwest Florida areas. Contact us to discuss session location options.

What should athletes bring to sessions?

Athletes should come in sport-specific cleats or athletic training shoes, comfortable athletic attire, and with a water bottle. We provide all training equipment. No additional gear is required for the summer camps.

How soon will we see results?

Mechanical improvement (how running feels and looks) is often visible within the first 3–5 sessions as new motor patterns begin forming. Measurable timed improvements — visible in 40-yard dash or agility scores — typically emerge within 4–8 weeks of consistent training.

Can injured athletes still participate?

It depends on the injury. With our PT clinical insight background, we can often work around minor injuries and use training to support recovery. Athletes with significant injuries should first consult their physician. Contact us directly and we'll discuss your specific situation honestly.

Is the summer camp right for beginners?

Yes. The AAC summer camp is structured for athletes of varying ability levels. Beginner and intermediate athletes benefit enormously from early exposure to correct mechanics — they don't have years of bad habits to unlearn. Advanced athletes benefit from higher-intensity progressions built into the program.

What is the refund/cancellation policy?

Camp registrations are transferable but non-refundable after confirmation. 1-on-1 sessions require 24 hours' notice for cancellation or rescheduling without charge. Contact us directly at SpeedAAC@gmail.com to discuss any exceptional circumstances.
